QualiTest, the world’s largest pure play software testing company, hosted a free testing event last week in London.
The event brought together experienced and amateur testers to compete in a fast and furious competition to find the most bugs in new website, screenhits.tv, which provides viewer feedback on the TV shows consumers most want to see. Attendees included John Lewis, Camelot and giffgaff who came along to try to prove their testing prowess.
Team Zapp 2 raced into the lead, raising 28 bugs on the crowdtesting partner’s platform, a platform used by the partner’s 70,000 professional testers to put web, mobile and desktop applications through their paces by testing under real-world conditions.
After the testing, the six teams turned the tables on the television review website by reviewing it themselves, with a cash prize for the most insightful presentation.
With a huge number of bugs raised and the beer and food plentiful, the event was a great success, with one attendee summing the evening up as “entertaining, educating and rewarding”.
Zappers is a series of regular events held in the UK, US and India. If you’d like to attend a future Zappers event, find out more information or have your app or website feature at an event, contact email@example.com or click here.
