Back on June 29, Qualitest won Frost & Sullivan’s Global Software Testing Services Customer Value Leadership Award, presented to us at a gala award ceremony in London.  We are proud to have been selected to receive this prestigious award.  F&S presents awards each year to companies they recognize as promoting significant growth within their sector, foreseeing and focusing on emerging trends ahead of the curve, and creating advanced technologies for catalyzing and transforming industries in the near future.  Frost & Sullivan’s industry analyst team benchmarks market participants and measures their performance through independent, primary interviews, and secondary industry research in order to evaluate and identify best practices.  F&S’s intent is to help drive innovation, excellence and a positive change in the global economy by recognizing best-in-class products, companies and individuals, providing awards to companies inspired by visionary growth, innovation, and leadership.

On September 12 at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency, Silicon Valley, we were honored to also receive this global award at a U.S. ceremony, as seen here in this picture below, being presented to Director of Business Development Mike Hershkovitz (left) and Senior VP US Division Manager Neri Lavi(middle) at the awards in California.  Other award recipients at this gala event included: Cisco Systems, Akamai Technologies and Symantec Corporation.  But speaking of California, we have a new San Diego office!  Let me tell you a little about it and other things you may not know about Qualitest’s California presence.

FS Award

The new office is at 7675 Dagget Street, Suite 240, San Diego, CA 92111 – that’s “Dagget”, not to be confused with “daggit” (a doglike creature redone as a robot in the original “Battlestar Galactica”).  The office includes a lab for mobile testing.  The benefits of this lab include: talent flexibility, reduced costs, and rapid right-sizing.

Qualitest California currently has already more than doubled this year to 90 employees, with continued growth expected through year’s end.  In addition to the new San Diego Test Center, there is an office in Santa Clara, with many people working on-site at companies in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, as well as a few people working remotely or floating between locations.  Our main clients include 2 medical technology companies, an online retailer, a global cosmetics firm with an online presence, a media/technology company, a hospital, a network security firm, and a fleet management solutions company.
