What is a cloud-based system?
A cloud-based system is an application or service that uses remote servers to save data or files. Data on a cloud-based system is saved on a virtual machine on a physical server. These systems are termed “cloud-based” because the data can be accessed remotely in the cloud or a virtual space. This capability allows users to access resources and services from virtually anywhere, simplifying data management and collaboration.
One of the largest and most well-known cloud-based systems is AWS (Amazon Web Services).
