QualiTest Group, a global leader in Quality Assurance and Software Testing Services announced today that it has recently started a project for the implementation of an end-to-end Exploratory Testing (ET) solution for testing a large scale Oracle EBS implementation at ConEd.
The Exploratory Testing Approach
As part of ConEd’s strategic goal to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of its test life-cycle, ConEd sought a testing team with strong Oracle EBS knowledge which could implement ET to expedite the testing process while at the same time maintaining the highest standards of quality.
“The plainest definition of exploratory testing is test design and test execution at the same time. Everything we do is optimized to find bugs fast, so we continually adjust our plans to re-focus on the most promising risk areas in each testing session. To manage this effort we utilize Session Based Test Management (SBTM), a formalized approach to managing ET. Combining ET and QualiTest’s Onshore service delivery model, we are able to react in real time to this continually evolving project and optimize our efforts as needed”, explained Yaron Kottler, QualiTest US CEO
