Ai Claims Solution Limited (now part of Quindell Portfolio) is an outsourcer for vehicle insurance claims management in the UK, in a manner that represents end-to-end coverage of the claims process.
Business Needs and Objectives:
Ai Claims was introducing a new overarching 3rd party vendor solution to replace their current systems to support the enhancement of a new target operating model. Ai had no structured internal testing capability. They wanted to build an internal test department capable of ensuring that the new solution delivered the specified functionality and supported their business processes.
The QualiTest Solution:
Using Test Process Improvement (TPI), we reviewed the organization’s testing approach and designed and implemented fully auditable test procedures and processes appropriate to Ai’s needs. We then trained, managed, mentored and supported the in-house test team throughout the migration to the new solution and the transition to the new target operating model (implementing appropriate best practices) providing expert consultants as and when required to ensure success.
This represents the kind of work we excel at and like to do: review, recommend, implement and support. We were able to support our client for several years during a time of significant organizational change. We understood and protected their business context, and raised their internal testing capability to an appropriate level.
- Minimized the risk to Ai’s business and reputation during a time of significant change
- Provided governance for the delivery of a business critical 3rd party solution
- lncreased the speed and quality of software delivery
- Increased the effectiveness of the internal testing capability and enhanced perception of the value of testing with senior stakeholders
“[They] reviewed the organization‘s testing approach and designed and implemented fully auditable test procedures and processes. Their flexible solution was the ideal fit for Ai’s requirements and was fundamental to the success of our software development life cycle improvements.” — Peter, IT Director
